Salute, the leading provider of global data center lifecycle services, has promoted Amy Goldschmidt as Director of Vendor Management for the Americas Region

Salute, a leader in integrated global data center lifecycle services, has appointed Amy Goldschmidt as the new Director of Vendor Management for the Americas region. This appointment marks another strategic milestone in our already remarkable journey, enhancing our ability to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

In leading that drive, Amy will draw on more than a decade of experience, including her time as an Account Executive at Salute. In that role, she further developed her foundational expertise in sourcing and contract negotiation, capabilities initially acquired during her earlier roles at ABM Industries and Concentric. This combination of hands-on experience and her naturally approachable personality will prove indispensable as she aligns vendor management with Salute’s strategic goals, ensuring seamless coordination across often overlapping priorities.

“I’m always looking to better understand clients’ perspectives, which I feel will help me align vendor capabilities with operational goals,” says Amy. “I’m really looking forward to putting into practice the lessons I’ve learned from negotiating payment terms, contracts, service usage, and more to build stronger and more profitable partnerships, enabling Salute to offer our clients more comprehensive and distinctive FM services and vendor management solutions.”

In this sense, Amy will be tasked with spearheading efforts to help fill existing service gaps and ensure vendor collaborations drive cost efficiencies, all while enhancing service delivery. This will prove critical to advancing Salute’s rapidly expanding footprint, namely by ensuring that high standards are maintained across diverse markets.

“Amy is a natural communicator who balances strategic insight with genuine friendliness, making her a perfect fit for this role,” says Michael Nimeth, Executive Vice President for Global Sales and Solutioning at Salute. “Her natural ability to build trust internally and externally will be critical as we grow, capable as she is of providing a clear understanding of how vendor partnerships can directly impact operational excellence and customer satisfaction.”

Ultimately, Amy will seek to build a transparent and profitable vendor framework that supports Salute’s integrated data center lifecycle services. By deepening regional and national partnerships and monitoring performance and cost savings, she will scale Salute’s operations sustainably, furthering the company’s mission to design, build, operate, and refresh infrastructure with increased agility.
