Salute has recognized Brian Cox, CEO of STACK Americas, as its selfless service award winner.
Presented by Erich Sanchack, CEO at Salute and Marine Veteran, this award recognizes people who have acted in the best interests of veterans and military spouses without the intention of personal gain. Such honorees prominently give back to the veteran community by promoting, advising and/or assisting veterans and military spouses to gain jobs in the data center industry.

Recognizing a selfless leader
As a veteran, Brian Cox, CEO, STACK Americas, has long been committed to creating meaningful career opportunities for fellow veterans and military families in the digital infrastructure industry. With his support, STACK prioritizes hiring, training, and developing veterans, recognizing their invaluable leadership, discipline, and problem-solving in a mission-critical environment. A meaningful portion of STACK’s workforce is made up of veterans, reflecting the company’s dedication to supporting those who have served.
Beyond hiring initiatives, STACK actively supports veterans through community engagement and charitable initiatives, including its Heroes of the Sea Charitable Fundraiser. This annual event broke records in 2024, achieving $2.1 million in lifetime contributions to support active duty, reservist, and retired Chief Warrant Officers of the U.S. Coast Guard through the Pacific Northwest Chief Warrant Officers Association (“CWOA”). The funds raised enable the CWOA to provide emergency aid, scholarships, and advocacy programs that help service members navigate challenges during and after their military careers.
As both a veteran and an industry leader, Brian has set a powerful example, ensuring that veterans are not only welcomed into the digital infrastructure industry but also given the opportunity to thrive. His dedication to service embodies the spirit of this award.
Salute is proud to recognize Brian Cox with the Selfless Service Award, celebrating his lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and creating opportunities for the military community.
