Workforce Employee Engagement Associate

The Workforce Engagement Associate will serve as the internal communications leader and will carry out the direct support functions of the Workforce Development department. In this role, the Workforce Engagement Associate will serve as an ambassador of the Salute brand for employee engagement.

Workforce Engagement Associate Primary Duties:

• Lead the development of all internal communication initiatives and processes specific to:

o Training and development opportunities o Awareness of Corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives

o Awareness of Corporate industry recognition o Awareness of career progression opportunities

o Employee recognition

o Lead internal communications content strategy to create meaningful, memorable, and actionable global communications that inform and engage

• Serve as a liaison with community and veterans’ groups to drive Brand awareness as an employer of choice

• Enhance the Salute employee brand, build upon our culture, and establish the voice of our internal communications

• Collaborate with the Onboarding Specialist and hiring managers with Onboarding communication and engagement with new hire employees

• Collaborate managers with Employee Success Plan development

o Understand and maintain awareness of our employee and management awareness with messaging (i.e. periodic check-ins on what resonates, review of important employee metrics, review of company events and success metrics)

o Improve employee experience based on success rates with change and engagement with content

• Collaborate with other teams to create communication and materials to support continuous improvement of employee experience

• Communicate on behalf of leadership and workforce development teams on new projects and services

Additional Accountabilities:

• Establish and deliver regular cadence with stakeholder communication

o Develop and oversee strategic communication plans and content for large scale initiatives

o Oversee the internal communications content calendar with an enterprise[1]wide focus

o Manage multi-faceted communication plans with a focus on driving consistent messaging and branding across multiple internal channels

o Leverage feedback from internal partners to inform potential changes in strategy

o Align internal communications timing and content with external communications

o Enthusiastically introduce and advocate for new internal communication concepts and initiatives within the company

• Tracking and measurement of engagement efforts

o Establish success metrics and goals for each internal communication initiative

• 100% completion of required Talent LMS based training courses as assigned

• 100% adherence to corporate requirements relevant to this position

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience for Success:

• Experience with public relations, public affairs, or marketing

• Experience with preparation and dissemination of information to a wide audience

• Computer literacy with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with Social Media initiatives and platforms

• Experience with cross-team liaison and collaboration

• Experience with Community Advocacy

• Effective communication skills

• Interpersonal savviness

• Basic customer service principles practitioner
